Canon A75 doesn't shoot06 Jul 2004 07:48 GMT4
I just bought a Canon A75. Worked fine for about 100 photos. Today, it
won't shoot. Indicator light that's supposed to be green when ready
doesn't come on except in movie mode. It is only orange which is
supposed to indicate ready with flash on. Nothing works. I've tried

Printing Photos06 Jul 2004 04:37 GMT7
Using an Epson Stylus C80 and Kodak Ultima Picture Paper (Satin or
Gloss), photo print just fine and look great.  However, the image is
easily scratched if handled later.  Not just fresh out of the printer,
but hours and days later.  Any liquid spots the photo, and the ink is

FinePix S602 media question06 Jul 2004 03:49 GMT6
I'm reading the manual for the finepix s602 (not the pro)and they
mention that it supports smartmedia (which I find only goes to 128 meg)
and two sizes of microdrive, 340 meg and 1 gig. Does anyone know from
experience if this camera can utilize any other media or sizes (such as
Fujifilm xD-Picture Card media06 Jul 2004 03:19 GMT6
I recently bought a 64Mb card for a FinePix A210. The card formatted to
the stated 81 available frames for HiRes, but I found that during use
some frames would be dropped e.g. after taking the first shot the frame
count drops from 81 to 79. The card shows full after taking 75 ...
3 or more dead pixels on camera's LCD, keep or return?06 Jul 2004 01:34 GMT1
I noticed at least 3 pixels on the camera's LCD which i just received
an hour ago (HP 945). I must admit i can't really say they have much
functional significance as the LCD is viewed from somewhat of a
distance and usually it's only viewed for framing. I can also use the
Online Photo Albums06 Jul 2004 01:33 GMT15
Is there a generally recommended online photo album service? I think
the features I'd want are:
* Must allow creation of separate albums, perhaps with text

Durability of the 300D06 Jul 2004 01:19 GMT11
Quote from a Forum:
"I've noticed a few comments about the poor build quality of the 300D
but I have to say that mine seems quite well made.
Last night I dropped mine down a flight of stone stairs with no harm
Compact Macro 50mm f2.5 on 10D06 Jul 2004 00:34 GMT3
On their website KEH are selling EF compact macro but they labeled it
"film only" (?) As far as I know this particular lens can be attached
to any EOS body, right? Can I use it on 10D?
10D as good as a Hassey?05 Jul 2004 22:40 GMT9
Recently I worked with a photographer who uses both a Hasselblad camera and
a Canon 10D.  When I asked him, he told me that the pictures he gets with
his 10D are at least as good as the pictures he gets from his Hassey; he
just uses the Hassey out of habit.
Casio QV R51?05 Jul 2004 22:29 GMT5
Has anyone had any experience with this camera? I "played" with it at Sam's
Club last week and it looks and feels like a very user friendly camera. I am
wondering how the printed images are?
Thanks for any advice you can give me.
