Reducing size, maintaining quality, how19 Jan 2004 16:23 GMT3

always happy with the results.
Made my choice19 Jan 2004 15:30 GMT20
After doing my last side by side comparison of the D100 and the 10D I ended
up buying the D100.  I did this after driving my self nuts reading and
looking and, quite frankly, I am still not sure I shouldn't have gotten the
10D instead and would feel the same about the D100 if I had ...

After reading a lot of good posts and reviews about CX6230,
I am thinking about buying it. PriceGrabber search and local
store ads have a price range of $140 - $199 while saying that
MSRP is $199. But Kodak web site shows MSRP of $149 (perhaps

HI.   I've never owned a digital camera and am in the market.  The prob,
which one?  So many choices, so little time, so much junk, so much overkill.
I'm an experienced amateur, holiday, occasion kind of use.  I have both 35mm
and APS cameras.  What I'm looking for in a digital ...

Portable storage19 Jan 2004 11:27 GMT11
Does anyone use, or know of, a decent unit for transferring and storing
digital images when traveling, etc.? I have seen some that also allow you to
view the pictures. Typically 20-40GB, but I'm not sure who makes them or
where to buy.

ACDSEE 6.0 mistake19 Jan 2004 11:20 GMT1
I have been using ACDsee since ver 3.1 and loved it up through 5.01.
Upgrading to 6.0, then 6.01 and now 6.02 has been a serious mistake.
It is slower, some features I liked (names w/o extensions on contact
sheets) were dropped, but most importantly is hangs all the time.  I
HP7960 cartridge query19 Jan 2004 11:09 GMT4
After reading reviews hereabouts, I today bought a HP7960 and have
spent the evening marvelling at the glorious B&W output. It's
everything I expected and then some more. On the HP Premium Plus paper
it really feels like the real thing…
