DPS 9000 battery pack help31 Dec 2003 21:48 GMT1
I just purchased a DigiPower 9000 battery pack. I left it on the charger
for several hours after I got home. When the pack is connected to the
charger all five LEDs light up as if the battery is full. However, once I
take it off the charger no LEDs will light up at all. Does it ...

after reading all the good press about the canon 300d I just had to have
one. Every place I tried in the UK was either out of stock or at a
price of £900 and still out of stock.
Ebay to the rescue, spotted a dealer in Hong Kong selling the 300d with

The next bit is mostly for UK readers (so any help appreciated)....
Small camera with adjustable LCD?31 Dec 2003 17:48 GMT3
Can anyone recommend a small camera with an LCD viewfinder that either
pulls out (Canon style) or swivels (Nikon/Sony style)?  I'm looking
for something pocketable: my current camera is a Minolta F100, and I'm
hoping for something comparable.  Also, looking for something at least
developing digital pictures31 Dec 2003 17:35 GMT5
I took pictures that are 2592 x 1728 pixels (3:2 ratio).  I expected
these pictures to be printed on 6 x 4 inch prints, without any
cropping of the pictures since the print is also 3:2 in ratio.  But
when I took the pictures to Costco to have them developed, all my
Dead Pixels31 Dec 2003 17:31 GMT11
I am about to purchase my first digital camera, but I have read reports
of cameras that suffer from a small number of 'dead pixels'.   It seems
that some owners put up with this, but I wouldn't be so happy
particularly as I am hoping to purchase a mid price model.  I am

online photo share review/comparison?31 Dec 2003 15:12 GMT2
I've been trying to find out about all the online photo
storage/sharing/printing services (e.g. ofoto, shutterfly). There appear to
be a huge number of them, but I cannot seem to find a nice review/comparison
of them. I would love to see something that compares things like cost of
Canon SLR digicam line 31 Dec 2003 15:06 GMT14
I've been looking a lot at the Canon 1D, and (unless they introduce
something new in the next few months that beat it) I'm planning on
getting one in late spring.  But I'm going to need a backup body, and
I'm thinking of getting that less expensive one now.
