Recently purchased the A70. Even though the file reset is set to off,
bizarre numbering of picture files has taken place.Some files numbers
are being repeated,  and also file number have skipped.  Most recently

I have 3 smartmedia cards which I use in my Olympus
D-340R camera. They all read in the camera & I can view the contents on the
camera screen.
My SanDisk image mate card reader will not read one of the cards even though

I've noticed the price is dropping sharply just lately, now down to ?2249 (UKP).
Is there a replacement just around the corner or has the market changed making the 1D look expensive?
I intend to get one of these in a few months time, so I'm interested in any comments.

I get a pinkish tinge to the fringe of dark objects when the background is

I bought a used Sony Cybershot, and it didn't come with software... having a
really tough time finding the drivers to get it going on my computer.
Anyone know where to get them online, of is anyone willing to email them to
me??  Can the drivers be bought at a store somewhere??

The specifications for the Sony DSCV1 and the Sony DSCF717 are fairly
similar and I wondered whether you would get better picture quality from the
larger F717 seeing that they are both 5MP cameras. I realise that the F717
