Hi Guys:

I ran across a rather long article on selling stock photography to
websites by a kinda interesting individual. The guy is an Australian
chef with a talent for photography. His name is Benjamin Christie.
I've never heard of him, but it seems he has a TV cooking show too.
Anyway, if you're interested you can read the article here

A [Chef, Clown, Real Estate Agent, Talk show host] with own T.V. show,
whether there is photography talent or, not, will, by virtue of having own
T.V. show (with audiences), be able to market and sell stock images more
successfully than a regular Photographer. In the same way, Metallica's
drummer, can sell art for large sums of money in a New York art gallery.

Why? Because the audience is not just buying a "piece of art or photo work",
they think they're buying a piece of the artist's soul, who just happens to
be a celebrity. Not sounding bitter but, acknowledging some facts of life.

Sarcasm...So, if you wanna be a successful Stock photographer, you have to
be some kinda Rock star or, in his case, a Cook star. End Sarcasm.
