Hmmm...
A new number.
The "1400" has been announced for some time - there's even a just
completed review at: http://www.photo-i.co.uk/
They are replacement for the 12** series, now with (small) 11ml separate
cartridges, 6 channel head in a de-featured (no roll feed) R1800/2400
chassis.

How about the ink cost per print?
And how does this Claria ink compare in permanence or color rendition
to the highly regarded pigment-based K3 inkset? Color neutrality of
B&W prints?

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

It's a dye-ink printer, and having been burnt by dye-ink in the past, I
don't trust it. But that's me...

Interesting, but to be a contender for my money, the following
questions need to be asked:
1. Print costs? How much are those *little* cartridges?
2. Is print head replacable /or/ can i get an extended 3 year
warranty? (O;
3. What is the maximum length it will print? - I see it has no roll
feed, but I wanna do panos...
