I've searched online and found a lot of different companies that offer
"archival" boxes to store old family albums. have a few albums,
ranging in size from 8.5 x 11 to 11 x 17, some with paper/binding that
is complete disintegrating due to age (60-90 yrs old), and picture
something that will keep them safe (maybe even some amount of padding,
though I don't think archival boxes have padding - just since I need
to travel with them to where they will be stored, and then move them
around every once in a while).
The goal (no eye-rolling, please :D ) is to be able still flip
through the albums maybe once or twice a year, and have any pages that
have currently split in half taped back together so people can see
what each full page is. I am looking for suggestions on tape, brand of
boxes to store in, and any other ideas on what best to do with the
pages to still allow people to look through sometimes. Most pages have
separated from the binding, which is fine-
I am going through all pages right now and scanning, so I will always
have a digital copy. I expect the original album to slowly crumble
over the next 100 years, which is okay - we will enjoy while it lasts
instead of tucking away and never touching. Probably something most
people wouldn't do, but what we would like...
Thanks!

This ewb search might help

You should consider removing the photographs from the existing albums and
transferring them to acid-free archival mounts or folders. Annotating the
mount or folder with information about who or what the picture is about,
and when and where it was taken, is also a good idea.
