Hi All,

I've uploaded more book reviews, especially in the photography area, to:
<http://www.dimagemaker.com/specials/bestbook.php>
and especially two of a landscape nature which I think are great.

I am gradually working through my library and writing reviews for the
good ones and getting in to review others that look good. I'm always
happen to get suggestions about great books you think should be there.

Cheers,

Wayne

Why not just upload them to Amazon?  You can read the reviews of any book
that exists there.  Ric in Wisconsin.

I like having the reviews on my site as part of all the other articles.
I treat my online site like the print magazines I used to edit and feel
that the site, to be useful, should cover as many of the bases as
possible. To me it is just part of having a well rounded and (hopefully)
successful site.

Cheers,

Wayne

I like your reviews, as it gives me YOUR opinion, I can check it out... on
Amazon I would have to go to each book etc... if other good/great
photographers had this on their sites, you could get a good feel what the
best are recommending, thus what to look for and buy...

I have a 26 book wish list on Amazon.ca and chapters.ca 25-50% off the local
book store price and free delivery to my house for orders over $39.. WHAT A
DEAL.. buying from Amazon.com is too expensive for us in Canada... the
shipping will kill ya.. kk

Hi Kevin,

Glad you like the reviews. I agree. They are my opinion, for what that
is worth, but I do try to carefully consider my opinion.

Why is amazon such a killer in Canada? Is it an exchange rate thing? Or
do they hate you for being so good at ice hockey? :) Exchange rate and
esp. shipping to Australia can be a killer for us but I still find them
useful for some titles, though I have been told Borders in Singapore is
good.

Cheers,

Wayne

I am not sure... I was checking things out and it is the least expensive,
and I even found same used bargains.. I just sent of for Christmas presents
for me!! $175 ... oh well, I might get smart... I did a quick Google for
oz'y discount book shops... best I could find was 10-15% ... not very good
and I did not see what they said about shipping... I bet that being they are
all printed in America or the UK that is a big factor... I have sold stuff
in the past on eBay and shipping has become a big expense here...

good luck.. kk
