Hi,
This is my first attempt to publish a photo to the web so bear with me.
Hopefully you can view the image here:

But if that does not work then try here:

What I wanted to convey with this photograph was not just days gone by,
but days now forgotten. It had the potential to look much better but I
lost a major spider web during the move to do the shot. This is one
picture that I wish I could associate the sound of the old rotary dial
with the picture in a way that when someone looks at it they would also
hear the wonderful sound of the rotary dial with its rich harmonics.
I shot this in tungsten halogen on a tripod with a Canon 300d using a
fixed 50 (non-macro) while holding one of those lenses that give a
little magnification up to the lens. The trick was to get the shadows
right while not having the dust either disappear or become
overwhelming.
Suggestions for how to improve the shot or how to convey the same mood
with another shot, as well as any comments or questions, are welcome.
Thanks for looking,
Ron

Nice photo!
You can associate a sound with this using html (background sound tag)!

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the tip. I googled 'html background sound tag' and
found lots of info. I checked out a web site with an embedded sound
tag and my first impression was that I did not like my browser doing
something I did not expect. So I think if I ever get a chance to
implement something like that I would want it to be an on-demand
feature. I can imagine how each photo in a gallery could have a series
of sounds associated with it. The problems would be to keep it from
getting gimmicky. I wish I had time to play around with the idea but
it will have to wait, probably for some time.
Thanks for looking,
Ron
