Hi,

I have a Canon ProShot 1 camera and wish to transfer images from my
camera to my laptop from a distance of about 50 feet.  At the moment I
have a long and rather temperamental cable that I use but wondered if
anyone knows of anyway to transmit the data using some sort of wireless
device?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Check out wireless USB adapters. Belkin has one, but I don't think it
is available on the market yet. Try their web site. This gives you a
wireless link to a USB hub. You could then plug the camera in the
wireless hub, and access the connector. BTW, 50' exceeds the acceptable
length for a SINGLE USB cable. You can "daisy chain" USB hubs to get
more distance, get USB "boosters." Do a Google search.
