Im doing a photography project on a band and am researching photographers past and present who's work I can look at. Does anyone know the names of the worlds leading band and music photographers? Like how Ansel Adams and Charlie Waite and so well known for Landscape Photographer. So far I have found only Anton Corbijn (U2's > Photographer) Jill Furmanovski My vote is also for Annie Liebovitz (more of a specialty portrait photographer of musicians) and Jim Marshall (very high quality 1960's and early 70's with Janice Joplin with Big Brother & The Holding Co., The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane and the San Francisco scene e.g. Fillmore West, Avalon Ballroom, or Winterland venues) -- Northlight "The older I get, the better I was |
