I'm a senior art major doing a project on lighting and movement. I want
to use strobes but I have a Canon Rebel 2000 and can't find the hook up
on my camera to connect to the strobe. Doesn't anyone know what I am
talking about and/or have any suggestions? Thanks!

It's the hot shoe - the connection at the very top of the camera,
comprised of two rails. Just as you can attach a flash there, you can
also attach an adapter that will trigger your strobes.
