Like he says, make your own from a nylon brush, I think you're supposed to
wash it with soapy water, when it dries spray it with canned air right
before you use it to get anything else out. If you try 500 strokes on a
filter you should be able to tell if it will scratch. There wan an
excellent site with all this info but I can't seem to find it again. Sorry.

Not only does the air clean any debris from the brush but it gives it its
static charge so it can lift the dust off of the sensor. Also, brushing a
filter a few hundred times after cleaining will also indicate whether or not
there is any residue on the brush which will require it to be cleaned again.
I cleaned my brush twice with mild soap and distilled water. It works like
a charm and it didn't cost $ 100.00.
