There is (or very recently was) an exhibition at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
They had a major Russian art show, most of which I thought was hideous, but
to tie in with that they turned over their photography galleries to a show
of Russian photos. A lot are from slightly earlier that your period, but I
think many fall into that range.
