Hi All

I've got the opportunity to grab a Canon G2 for about $150 Cdn...
Right now, I'm only using an A75, so I see this as a step up, but the
actual specs are somewhat close as far as I can tell, though I've only
been playing with Digital for about 2 months.

Any feedback is appreciated
TIA

My first digital camera was the G2 and I like it as an introductory
camera.  Don't think you can go wrong w/it.  My only Caveat is
something you said; that the specs for your current camera and the G2
are QUITE similar.

Can you borrow the G2 for say a week or so, play with it and see if you
like the "upgrade" and make your decision after that?

One of the advantages I see over the A75 is the battery.  The G2 uses a
re-chargable and when I had the G2 the charge would last for days
before I had to recharge.  I think you'd save money time and
aggravation by using a rechargable battery over double a batteries.

Good luck!

Pretty much what I'm hoping to do.. and I think the battery alone might
make it a worthwhile investment; I'd pay for itself in a year.. ;)

Thks for input
