My goal is  to convert photos to 100 pixels height and 400 pixels height in
large
groups plus upload them to server PLUS find a program that will organize
these
photos in a web page for viewing. Currently I use EZ Thumbnails
to convert to the specified sizes and WS FTP to upload and  I think that I
need a program to make the links from the small image to the large image
automatically and then a way to install them into an html page. Is that
correct? I appreciate your help. Dick Ross

My personal preference is to do it as you are now doing.  I don't like
software to do my thinking for me.

You might look at IRFanView software.

Linking the thumbnails to the larger picture for hundreds of photos will be
very time consuming. Also the issue of putting everything into an acceptable
HTML document is an issue. Software that does this would be very worth
while. It is being doing at

Check out Microsoft FrontPage, which will do all of this work for you, from
resizing to thumbnailing to uploading.  I compose similar pages containing
hundreds of thumbnailed photos, all linked to large size photos, in
literally 2 minutes.

Gallery is a PHP-based package that thumbnails as well as provides
links to the full images in a variety of user-defined sizes.

Gallery2, in beta, is even more capable.
