Does anyone have any suggestions when purchasing a wide angle lens for my canon eos rebel digital camera? Thanks Bill If you got the money then a Canon 17-40L f/4 is quite a sharp lens. Color is for vacation snaps. 17-40 on digital rebel is (17mm x 1.6 = 27.2mm) & (40 mm x 1.6 = 64mm) [1.6 is the ratio of size diffrenece between 35mm film and CMOS sensor].
