I've noticed you've got an A570. You could consider making yourself a
shutter release with a 4.5v led keychain and USB cable. It might help you
get shots where the bird doesn't press against the back of the cage like a
girl on a bad date. I've got one just like it and just have to get off my
a.s and put the parts together.
