You need much bigger ones.
Tiny pictures are a waste of time.
My monitor on both my laptop and my desktop are 1920 x 1200

Thank you for your reply. May I visit your website? Please let me and
others know your website address.
Mine is only a small website. The resolutions I offer are most
suitable for laptop computers with 15.4" or 17" screen.

I think it's nice of you to offer your work. If anyone doesn't like your
art, constructive critique, in a diplomatic fashion  would be in order.

Thanks. Constructive critiques are welcome. My website is small and
new. I need to further improve it.
With regards to the comments from Burgerman above, I have adjusted the
introduction on my website. Presently I offer wallpapers for ordinary
laptops. Possibly many of them are with 15.4" screen.  If the users
are not demanding, they may like to strech the wallpapers to fit for a
little higher resolution.
This is a photography newsgroup. I know you guys are professionals.
Cheers!

You obviously haven't been around here very long ... sometimes it is
more like alt.photography.flamewars or alt.photography.kindergarten

The culture here is like many newsgroups.
Sometimes you will get good information. Some are more interested in
flaming. You will learn who is who.

BTW I am somewhat new here too. Most here seem to be serious amateurs, and
there are some pros.

My laptop is 17 inch and is 1920 x 1200.
My sites are commertial and not related to images so not relevant.

If you have websites and you're a subscriber to alt.photography it's
reasonable to assume that you are a photographer and that you can let
others see your work on one of your websites.

I checked out Fall into Colours (sp?) at:
<http://www.fallintocolors.com/>
and liked what I saw, especially the macro shots. Overall I'd say
AKW's composition is good. My only criticism might be that some of the
shots in the earlier galleries look oversaturated - but I've never
seen Canada or New England in the autumn / fall...

If you'd like to browse my efforts at widescreen wallpaper check out:

<http://www.henniker.org.uk/html/1680wallpaper.htm>
where you'll find images which are 1680 x 1050 pixels for most 20" and
22" monitors.

C'mon Burgerman, don't be coy and please let us check out your
websites whether they're commercial and irrelevant or not. And YES it
does get a bit like:

>You obviously haven't been around here very long ... sometimes it is
>more like alt.photography.flamewars or alt.photography.kindergarten

to quote Shiva Das ;o)

regards Dave.
<http://www.henniker.org.uk> 3300 photos especially
Edinburgh & Scotland. + 3D rendered art, old ads etc.
Délété david for email; watch the spam filters.

My websites concern money and oil companies, engine tuning etc!
My photography isnt online...
And you dont "subscribe" or even need to be a photographer to use a
newsgroup!

And I'm crap artistically and good technically. And small images have too
little information to be useful or of interest.

Hi Dave,

I like your photos : )
They are in general very nicely framed and the colors look natural.
I accept you criticism because I did adjust the contrast of some of my
photos.
I tried to exaggerate the colors so that the images look more
impressive on a low contrast LCD screen.
The target audience of my website is the general public rather than
only photographers. Not every one has good equipments.
From what I observed, 15" and 17" computer screens are still very
common in many ordinary offices and homes.
People who read messages in this newsgroup likely have good computers
and screens ; )
Anyway, I'll possibly enhance the colors of my photos when I have
time.

Regards,
AKW
