Judy (or Candle) is this up here for critique?
I see run of the mill presumably digital snapshots, not particularly
well lighted, competently exposed, probably well (auto) focused but not
great resolution (film would do better than these digital images) and
not a particularly discerning eye. I don't find much to like or bother
looking at again. Sorry.

Judy,

I don't usually check out websites. I liked your approach. It was a delight
making the journey with you. I know some folks here think being a critic is
only being negative, so don't let it get you down.  I especially liked the
macros. Most of us are not Ansell Adams, I know I'm not, but I have a lot of
fun with my camera, and getting my own world into images. You seem to do
that very well.

How silent would the forest be, if only the best birds sang. I just do what
I can do, and I enjoy the result. Thanks for the trip.

I agree with your thought, but disagree with your "best" analogy. I know of
no artistic standard for "best," other than whether the maker is happy that
he/she made the image.

Analogy ?????????

I believe you. After glancing through your posts in this and other
forums for a few weeks I am sure that there are many, many things that
you have no knowledge of. You are a knowledge vacuum, one of the the
last remaining defenders of ignorance, a proud beacon of incomprehension
in a sea of awareness. Without doubt you are the ultimate authority on
"not knowing", few could match your credentials when it comes to a lack
of knowledge, this is made abundantly apparent with each post you make.

You should broaden your knowledge by investing in a dictionary. They are
so popular that they even make them in a portable, battery-less,
electronic free form, made entirely of paper. Check them out.

I see you are acting every bit like your phony first name. It is well
deserved. (I also figured
that you would not know what a pseudonym is, without looking it up.)

Welcome to the Bozo bn. It is reserved for those who can only attack the

Hi Peter,

Thanks for dropping by.  I would like to take credit for the saying, "How
silent would the forest be, if only the best birds sang," but it precedes me
by many hundreds of years. So, I simply defer to the wisdom of the people
who actually lived there. I'm a city kid.  But I certainly do as you say
when I say, "I just do what I can do, and I enjoy the result."  I have to
admit, I like it a bit more when others share the enjoyment.

Have a good day.

On reading your reply I originally mistook your comment as a negative
comment on the OP's images. I see now I misunderstood your comment, having
not heard it before. I too am a city kid.
