What was filmed very badly was part of the Queen's Birthday Flypast by
the RAF.
The small formation immediately before the large formation was an RAF
Tristar escorted by two HS.125s. The HS.125s are bright white and the
poor quality video shows high reflection off the colour scheme.
The practice for the flypast was on the 11th June with the exact same
formations.
The first formation seen in the video was a Nimrod MR.2 escorted by
two Tornado F.3s

All of which came from the RAF station that's on my doorstep, Marham.
I served there up until 2003 while I was still in the RAF.

Nice shot. This formation was made up of jets from 2(AC), 9, 13, and 15
Squadrons, and consisted of a mixture of GR4's and GR4A's.

And for extra geek points, the name of the pilot who commaded this formation
is Tom.
Seriously, I'm not joking.
He's my neighbour and he was flying the jet right at the back of the
formation.

Excellent answer, TJ. And accompanying pic's that leave absolutely no
doubt.
Now, a question for SFT - were you suggesting that these required
tin-foil-hat-type investigation? Or are you a beginner aircraft
enthusiast with very limited skills seeking information about these
'unidentified' objects, that are, in fact, *very* easily identified?
If you are in the former group, and your post and web presence indicates
that you are, perhaps you might like to consider that posts like this
one are *why* you lot are regarded as loonies without a clue, and that
you have helped set your 'cause' back even further, if that is possible...
Also, now that you have found the 'truth', will you go back and spread
the word? Of course you will, right?
We await your reply with interest.
And may I suggest that whoever filmed the flypast practice seek some
lessons?

Thanks Mark and Sam. The video is still doing the rounds on the web
and snowballing out of control!
