Is there a program that will print the EXIF information beside each
thumbnail on a contact sheet?. It would be very convenient for
keeping a record of what works and what doesn't for future reference.
This evening I took 60 pictures of the full moon and it would be so
much easier to make comparisons regarding shutter/aperture/ISO with
all the information visible at the same time.

I have never heard of such animal, and I don't think there is any. Yes
there are program to print thumbnails, and there are programs to display and
probably be able to print the ERIF but the combination then I don't think
there is any. But I may be wrong.
Also, you may try to do some research on HTML or Java Script whatever many
photo hosting sites use to display the ERIF. Can it be done? I believe so
but most programers programs something to be used by many people not some
indivual (unless s/he programs for his/her own use).

Actually, Canon, EasyPhotoPrint does exactly this, displaying all EXIF
information, however, only three fairly large images per page. I'm
still looking for one that creates a page with small-format images,
plus EXIF, if anyone knows of a program like this.

If you're using a Mac then Graphic Converter will do this. Select File /
Catalogue / Print then click the 'Define Details which should be
printed' button to select the EXIF information required.
