Photo stockhouses?

Are there any photo stockhouses that accept photos (without paying
them a fee) ?

i'd like to send some photos and hopefully they would be used and i
would be paid a fee 8) .

Try <istockphoto.com>. (Don't forget the "i" in front or you'll get a
different site).

It's a popular stock photography site that sells photos that users
upload, and you get a percentage.

However before you upload you must go through an application process
first and not everyone is accepted. Also, they have a long list of of
photos they will NOT accept since they've already got plenty -- no
flowers, flags, pets, sunsets, clouds, forests, etc.

What they're mainly looking for these days is corporate shots, group
shots, sports, holiday & seasonal photos, fashion, food & beverage,
and a few other things they list at their site.
