A while back a fellow announced that he was mailing 99 disposable cameras
out around the world.  Each recipient was to take a few frames and send the
camera on until it was exhausted, then send it back.

Mine arrived today from Italy!  I wish I could see what was already on it.
Today I plan to shoot a wine-bottling ceremony and maybe some vineyard
shots.

I thought it was only one shot each user.

Right you are!  I mis-spoke.  Each person takes *one* shot and sends the
camera along or gives it to someone else.  Thanks for the clarification.

I thought you are only supposed to take ONE picture on it and then pass
it on?

I like the idea.  It would be interesting if when each person took their
one photo they emailed back the time, date and location of the picture.

This way the path of each camera could be shown. You might have more
than one picture from a location by different cameras on different
routes. Also should any camera be lost then you would have a trail of
where it went up to the point where it disappeared.

I agree.  That would make it much more interesting, and as I think you
pointed out a while ago, it would provide a gentle pressure to those who
fail to pass the camera along
