can i view on the moniter to take a picture or does the D200 only use
the view finder if so this is crap the manual is hard to get on with

Why don't you sue the school that you attended and buy:

1. An education that you missed in your free public school
2. Buy a Nikon D300 so you can view the monitor.
But you will still have to be able to read the manual. By that time
you will have
learned to read and comprehend.

Why the f.ck would anyone want to use the monitor to take a picture on a

You might want to ask the people at Nikon why they put that feature in the
new D3 and D300
