Spammer!
Free Loader!
As an Internet Expert, you should know better than advertising in a
newsgroup.

And it's always a good idea *not* to repeat the spammer LINK by removing
it from your response <bg>
IOW, I already had this sucker kill-file sometime ago, and I wouldn't see
the spammer link again *if* you didn't quote it.

Like I did = meaning I kept the text *but* having the LINL *removed*.
Oops! I forgot to remove this time because I was paying attention to
Celcius's response (silly me). Well, like the above <bg>

Not a very good advert for a web designer.
Not a good design IMHO
BTW you don't expect to be taken seriously with a Yahoo email address?
It's OK for individuals but hardly the right thing for a business.

Yes.
You too can have a website that doesn't fit on your screen and introduces
very annoying horizontal scrollbars, even at large screen sizes. Just what
everyone wants I'm sure.
But wait, that's not all.
You can also have mission-critical elements of your site coded with
Javascript, thus rendering your website useless to around half of the
internet community.
That's just great.
I'm being sarcastic by the way.

And why would I think you could do a better job than I can?

BTW - your web site fails validation at w3c.org - 104 errors. That's not
the kind of web design I would want.
Rich - 23 Nov 2007 17:29 GMT
Hey - great idea, can you design me a pile of *%^& that doesn't validate,
won't render and is designed around a poor CMS?
SteveB - 23 Nov 2007 19:18 GMT
This is great! Thank you! You have no idea how much better I feel now.

Each one of you really has some prize sites. The main point is I generate
sales and you dont. If you would like to have a hyperlink war bring it on.

I don't know exactly what your problem is, but w3c validation is an
important point for some folks. If you don't give a rat's a.s about the
'portable public' it probably doesn't matter as most full up computer
systems won't have major difficulties. But users of new generation
low-powered palm devices will.

It's very interesting to see the spammer (?) responses to feedback. I
have already kill-filed the sucker so won't be seeing another of his/her
spam in the next few months.

Even if I ignore the fact that you've spammed a newsgroup (which I find
quite hard to do); how can you honestly make a statement like this on your
web site and not expect people to find it odd?: "Website design I write
xhml, css layouts that conform to w3c web specifications...." <snip>
It's XHTML and it does NOT conform to W3C web specifications...

The site is full of spelling/grammatical/punctuation errors. To me that
suggests he's probably not much of a programmer, because programming is
one area where attention to that sort of detail really matters - even if
you use a development environment that corrects that sort of error,
making the mistakes in the first place is indicative of sloppiness, and
not checking for and correcting them is just poor practice.
