Hi All

Not sure if I have a problem with my new lens but the manual focus ring just
rotates without hitting a stop in either direction.  IT focuses fine but I
am unsure if this lens works this way or mine is busted.  Thanks in advance.

That's the way my 70-200 f2.8 works so I think you can enjoy your turkey
now.  My other lens stop when it hit the MAX (both ways), and stickier to
rotate if the lens set at "AF" (Auto-Focus), and very smooth when set to "M"
(Manual)

It would be, you'll also knacker your servo motors by rotating it by hand in
AF mode.
