I've just been given the subject flashgun, without instructions. Does
anybody have a copy of same that I could get a look at? Failing this, here's
some questions:

1.On the front their is an optical sensor (presumably to moderate the flash
intensity or duration or both) with a three position switch next to it. The
positions are coloured white, yellow and blue. What do they mean?

2. What shutter speed setting should I set on my Pentax Super-A?

3. What mode does the Pentax have to be in: auto or manual?

Thanks

Hi Gladly,

Best thing is to contact Jessop Products department direct (main line
is:0116 232 6000), and I'm sure they would be happy enough to supply a copy
of the basic manual.

Also the 'D' on the end indicates that it is a dedicated gun you have, but
is it for Pentax or possibly Nikon/Canon?

The yellow & blue indicate different strengths, just look at the top of the
flash-gun where there is a distance and aperture guide. White is full power.

Probably 1/60th. If you don't have a manual, search Pentax USA site for
manual downloads as they are free when charged for in UK (nothing new there
but not as bad as Canon).

If the gun is dedicated it should'nt matter, but if not then I'd say manual
with shutter speed of 1/60th.

Cheers,
Stephen
