I was thinking about getting the Nikon F75, but now I'm not so sure.

Is this a good buy for the money, or is the Canon EOS 300V a better buy?
What about the Minolta Dynax 800Si?

Is it worth the extra to buy a Pentax *ist?

Any suggestions appreciated.

A quick mosey on over to the Ffordes site (www.ffordes.com) shows you could
buy a used F80 and 50mm/1.8 for ?298, and i'm sure shopping around used
camera shops and sites will provide other good buys- personally, I wouldn't
consider a current Nikon lower than an F80, and I wouldn't buy into Canon
with a ?300 budget (I find the TSE and IS lenses too tempting).
