Hi,
Firstly I am a total novice on any type of photography.
I would like advice on which digital camera to buy. I am limited
to those that have manufacturers underwater housings available.
I cannot afford a custom made housing.
At the moment I,m looking at the Sony P10/P12
the Canonn G5 and the Olympus C5050z or C-750.
In addition to underwater shots I would also like to use
it to take pictures of animals, as in game parks. I realise that
I will probably have to comprimise because of the different
type of photography but I can't afford two different cameras.
Does anyone have any positive or negative experience on any
of the above cameras.
All advice will be gratefully recieved.

For game parks you need the zoom of the C-750. 3x zoom does not
come halfway to doing it.

I use the c-5050z underwater and am very pleased with it, but have added an
external strobe.

I'm taking it to Egypt on Sunday and will probably take a few hundred
shots - results in the past have been fine
