Just looking for something sutiable at 7dayshop.

note to other people with Z1s:
what case are you using? and where did you get it?

TIA

I've yet to see a camera supplied with one (a decent one anyway). It
gives them something else they can sell you at a grossly inflated price
later on!

I'm currently using my old SLR gadget bag, which is well padded. Minolta
do actually have an 'accessory' case for this camera, I have seen it
advertised in a magazine, but it is about £40.

I just bought my 3rd Lowepro Linx 120 which is ideal for a 7Hi and also for
the Dynax film cameras - Should fit a Z1. (By 3rd, I mean I have 3, not that
they need replacing!). The side pockets keep all the bits and pieces (such
as spare batts, charger, etc), and the main case is a nice loose fit for the
camera which goes in lens first and comes out without snagging on anything.
Case is big enough to keep the lens hood on the right way round. There are
also little pockets inside the case for memory cards, and a zippered one in
the "lid" of the case.

The Lowepros are well made and thoughfully designed. This years' colour is
all black ... last year it was black and silver.

http://www.t4cameras.co.uk/ have them for GBP 22.50

I notice they keep their prices secret for most of their cameras...

... and the pictures don't work for the cases ....

The price-secrecy probably means either that they aren't the cheapest, or
that they are ready to negotiate ....  Don't know which, as I only bought
the cases from them.

I've yet to see a cheaper camera price than www.bestcameras.co.uk published
on the web for UK purchase. Don't know what they are like either, as I've
never used them. It's always nice to see a minimum price benchmark, and then
you know what you are being asked to stump up extra for the high street shop
front etc. If it isn't too much, it's worth the extra not to wait at home
for that delivery, and not to have the hassle if something needs returning.
