Following on from Norman's thread about FD mount lenses, does anyone here
have experience of the adapters that allow a Tamron lens with an Adaptall 2
type mount to fit on an EOS body?

I've seen some on eBay which are chipped to provide focus confirmation in
the viewfinder and will work in manual or aperture priority mode. Do these
mounts allow the lens to focus on infinity?

I have a bunch of old SP lenses and thought it might be fun to dust them off
and play around with them and £22 plus p+p doesn't seem like too big a risk
but thought I would ask here first. There's an old 17mm that would equate to
a 28mm on the EOS350D which I'm really looking forward to using again.

The blurb on the auction says it does...

And advertising never lies? :-)
