'm about to embark on using a Holga medium format camera for creative
photography. The only problem is it's been years since I've had any
film developed at all.

Do any of you guys know where I can get medium format film developed
and what kind of prices I should be looking at? I live in Manchester.

What about 35mm?

I've been using digital for so long I have no idea how to go about
this. I am really looking for I guess the most cost effective method
as I eventually want to get my prints onto my computer and on flickr I
suppose.

Any advice would be great,

Thanks,

Neil

Any Jessops shop will send your 120 film for processing and return
some reasonable prints for about a tenner.  The best way to get them
on your computer will be to scan them with a flatbed scanner.

It probably isn't worth scanning the film as you would need a
dedicated film scanner or a film attachment for a flatbed scanner. For
Holga quality it would not be worth it.
