I was thinking of getting a spirit level to mount on top of my camera but
then wondered if anyone made an audible one for photographic use.    (There
are audible spirit levels for other applications)

What does it do - shout "not level" until it's level, or maybe "up a

And there's me thinking it will say, "Careful you're spilling your
drink!"  ;-)

Good idea though. The one on my tripod is too sensitive to be used hand
held.

You can get ordinary audible spirit levels for £25, it be interesting to try
fixing one to a camera mounting shoe.

I have an ordinary visual one that fits in the hot shoe which is good enough
for me because the way I work an audible one would be no advantage.

Don't you think he'd look a bit silly with that stuck on top of his
camera?

I was thinking the same but at least promising the camera manufacturers are
incorporating things like that into their designs.
