DVH - 08 Jul 2007 13:35 GMT I notice you haven't posted to demon.local recently.
Why is that?
joblard@hushmail.com - 08 Jul 2007 18:05 GMT > I notice you haven't posted to demon.local recently. > > Why is that? Quiet, k00k.
It is surely time for the annual 'Blather' posting:
'*Blather* is here. As we advance to make our bow, you will look in vain for signs of servility or of any evidence of a desire to please. We are an arrogant and depraved body of men. We are as proud as bantams and as vain as peacocks.
'"Blather doesn't care." A sardonic laugh escapes us as we bow, cruel and cynical hounds that we are. It is a terrible laugh, the laugh of lost men. Do you get the smell of porter?
'*Blather* is not to be confused with Ireland's National Newspaper, still less with Ireland's Greatest Newspaper. *Blather* is not an organ of Independent opinion, nor is Ireland more to us than a Republic, Kingdom or Commonwealth. *Blather* is a publication of the Gutter, the King Rat of the Irish Press, the paper that will achieve entirely new levels in everything that is contemptible, despicable, and unspeakable in contemporary journalism... In regard to politics, all our rat-like cunning will be directed towards making Ireland fit for the depraved readers of *Blather* to live in...
'We have probably said enough, perhaps too much. Anyhow, you have got a rough idea of the desperate class of men you are up against. Maybe you don't like us? A lot we care what you think.'

As you'll notice, Chris never tires of poking around to investigate the lives of other posters. It's baffling considering the mundane nature of those lives, but he presumably finds them interesting compared to his own. I suppose when you're an islamist, there are so many things your god forbids you doing that you have to live life vicariously.

Why do you poke around in other peoples' lives, you sad little stalker?
Why does Chris Sheldon's life interest you so?
Why does Abe's website interest you so?
Why do I interest you so?
Do you not have enough to interest you in your own life, you sad little stalker?
These are questions you ought to be considering, instead of behaving like a squalid, seedy, stalker.
I noticed you dropped your stalking in another thread ("Attention islamists"), because you didn't have the courage to pursue it. You ended up feeling foolish. Like any bully, you don't have much spine, it seems.
Poor, uninteresting Chris, and his uninteresting life. No spine. No humour. No interest.

I am woman, hear me roar In numbers too big to ignore And I know too much to go back an' pretend 'Cause I've heard it all before And I've been down there on the floor No one's ever gonna keep me down again
Oh yes, I am wise But it's wisdom born of pain Yes, I've paid the price But look how much I gained If I have to I can do anything I am strong (strong) I am invincible (invincible) I am woman
You can bend but never break me 'Cause it only serves to make me More determined to achieve my final goal And I come back even stronger Not a novice any longer 'Cause you've deepened the conviction in my soul
Oh, yes, I am wise But it's wisdom born of pain Yes, I've paid the price But look how much I gained If I have to I can face anything I am strong (strong) I am invincible (invincible) I am woman
I am woman watch me grow See me standing toe to toe As I spread my lovin' arms across the land But I'm still an embryo With a long, long way to go Until I make my brother understand
Oh, yes, I am wise But it's wisdom born of pain Yes, I've paid the price But look how much I gained If I have to I can face anything I am strong (strong) I am invincible (invincible) I am woman
Oh, I am woman I am invincible I am strong

Youngsters in top hats and velvet jackets, and ripped jeans or pinstripes, sometimes carrying canes and wearing pumpkin watches.
Meanwhile all other colours of the fashion spectrum are still there at all times. A superb mohican the other day in Chelsea, with a flowered umbrella to keep the rain off.
The Afghans around here are also impeccable.
It's a good place for people watching.
