Have any of you purchased equipment from DigitalRec? The lenses they
sell come with a Mack warranty, is that any use to me in the uk? Are there
any pitfalls?

thanks

Is that DigitalRev by any chance?

I've come close to ordering from them, seems like they offer a lot of
stuff. If success is any indication of their operation then they seem to
be doing well. They have some own branded stuff starting to appear.

that in itself could be a clue. They talk about having UK
representation, which to me would indicate they could be using drop
shipping. You buy from them, they then use a Hong Kong courier outfit to
send you the goods from a wholesaler who does drop shipping. It saves
them carrying stock themselves.

Drop shipping is common on EBay. You get the goods, and there should be
a full international warranty with them as well.

It is a pretty effective way of trading

Its the warranty I'm not sure of. I'm looking at Canon L lenses and they
appear to come with a Mack 3 year international warranty.
