1) Lens that goes at least as wide as 28mm equivalent (for 35mm).
2) Optical viewfinder.
3) Images sharp out to the corners.
Obviously any digital SLR can meet these requirements with an appropriate
lens, but I'd like something more compact. So far the closest I've found
has been the Canon SD800, but it fails (3).
Any suggestions?

Which does not mean that you cannot buy them.
