i am looking at upgrading my canon a430 but i don't want an slr (too
bulky).  i am looking at something in between point & shoot and slr.
the camera must be compact, excellent optics, low noise and large
CCD.  i have been looking at canon ixus 65 and sony dsc w80.

thanks,

pago

Cheek out the new Nikon P5000:

or the Canon PowerShot G7:

modelid=14321

Both give you a fair amount of manual control so you can exercise your
creative juices....
