Need thoughts on 2 cameras

Looking at Kodak EasyShare C633 and Samsung Digimax S700 (black). We have the C633 in hand and also have the S700 on the way but can return either one. We're looking for an easy to use camera that takes nice pictures. Opinions of one or both appreciated!

Picked up the samsung yesterday, returning it today. Every 4th or 5th
picture, it locks up and powers off. The user guide tells you to
re-install the batteries, as if you couldn't figure that out, but it
doesn't tell you a cause, or that it happens so frequently. I'm
dropping an added 40 or 50 bucks for the canon A540, as originally
planned..
