Coolpix 5000 Compact Flash recommendations

Hello

I have a Coolpix 5000 and am looking to purchase a new CF card for it.
Since I purchased the camera there are a lot of choices for cards -
does anyone know whether I would get a speed benefit from using a
higher end card (higher transfer rate from the camera to the card).

Not going to get any benefit in the camera above an 8x I have Lexar 8x and
40xWA cards, no difference in my 5700.

Seems to me the usual CF card currently available in ordinary stores
will accept CP5000 picture writes as fast as the camera can make them.
Two possible reasons for spending a little more for enhanced speed
capability:
? You'll eventually acquire a card reader that will transfer files to
your computer faster, from a faster card
? You may go for a newer camera that can take advantage of a faster card
? (Doesn't really count as a possible reason) For my part, I always like
to know I spent more than necessary, just as a gesture at boosting the
economy
