I met a fine gentleman tonight here in Arlington, TX.  His name is
Robert Dixson and he's a professional photographer from New Orleans.

Robert was displaced by Katrina and ended up on a bus which made it's
way here to Arlington.  He's staying at a local recreation center:

He had a photo studio in New Orleans which he fears is lost....

He's doing well at the center, has food/water/etc., but he wants to
work.  He asked me about any photo studios in the area and I'm trying to
get him in contact with some local people.

In the meantime, I'm hoping someone can use him for something.  He's a
fine, fine man and I really enjoyed speaking with him.  He did mostly
commercial photography and mentioned several large clients with whom he
had worked in the past.

I urge anyone in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area (or anywhere for that matter)
to contact him and see if there's anything you can do to help. Or better
yet, put him to work!
