Hi everyone. I'm new to the group and kind of new to photography. I've
been a hardcore point and shooter since about 13 when i started going
to motorcycle meetings with my parents.
That was before the digital camera craze. Back in those days i'd blow
10 rolls of 36-exposure film in a weekend. And 85% of the pictures came
out good enough to put in albums.
Some of the picture got published in biker magazines. But anyways, i'm
about to get my first film SLR camera, which is a Canon Rebel Ti and i
already have a Canon Powershot A75.
I'm waiting for the new Canon S2 IS to come out so i can retire my A75
from active duty.
If y'all know of any tips, classes, or any kind of stuff like that,
please let me know.
I'd appreciate it. I'm in Texas, in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. I'm
originally from Portugal, been here a few years in college. I'd like to
challenge photographers in the Dallas / Fort Worth area to come have
lunch with me sometime, i'd like to know the people in my area that
share this kind of passion. Thank your for your time.

Any reason you're not going for the Digital Rebel instead of the Ti?
Those 10 rolls of film per weekend are going to end up costing WAY more
than the difference in price between the two.
