I've been a full time professional portrait photographeer since 1966.
I've never heard
of that light brand in my life. If you said Photogenic you would have a
winner. But an
obscure no-name light ... I would never buy something like that.

Thanks for the input, the price is very right, OTOH, so I'm willing to
take a risk IF I can find a source of tubes and incandecents.

You might want to consider more than just flashtubes and modeling
lights...you
MIGHT actually want to acquire different reflectors, snoots, grids,
speedrings,
etc. AND you might want to make sure the flashtube and modeling bulb you
find isn't some end-of-life last-one-on-the-planet situation. I'd stick
with names
that are still around: Bowens, Comet, Novatron, Photogenic, Multiblitz,
Balcar,
Speedtron, Broncolor, Elinchrome, Paul Buff, etc. I'd suggest (as a good
guide)
going to the Chimera and Photoflex websites and checking out what brands
they
make speedrings for...
