A long and badly foccused lens, fast grainy film (or a noisy CCD if digital) but mainly lots
and lots of patience..

I wish you well with your project and look forward to seeing the results..

The traditional technique goes something like this:

1.  Go downstairs and find your kid's Godzilla action figure in the
toybox.

2.  Root around in your tackle box and find enough sinkers to hold
Godzilla in place.

3.  Aquarium.

Good luck.  Mention me in your Pulitzer acceptance speech.

You forgot the most important step:

4.  Drink single malt until Nessie appears!

Won't work.  Nessie has perfect pitch and will flee when you start
singing.  No, you're going to have to send me that bottle in order
to have any chance.

Yes Michael,  Nessie does have perfect pitch.   My friend was practising
playing the bagpipes on the ramparts of Urquhart Castle on the banks of Loch
Ness when I took this picture in 1976.

Have been back a few times but never spotted Nessie again.....my friend now
plays the pipes much better !

:-))

(Yes it is a PhotoShop montage ! )
