How would the customer ever know if I through them away?

I actually throw all my old film based images like that into a junk pile, I
don't throw them away as I may use them in a composite or montage or even as
a background for DTP. (And before I am asked, yes I get model releases off
the bridal couple for every wedding).

On another note, I shoot in all digital now anyway, so if the photo is bad
enough (blinking etc) I delete it on the spot and reshoot.

Whilst I love burning through yards of film, even today, the vast majority
of pictures I shoot today are on digital.  This gives a splendid advantage -
there isn't any paper or chemical waste.  If an image isn't good enough to
last long as a print, it doesn't get printed.

There are advantages to shooting film (e.g. the colour of white skin tones
on NPS film is truly beautiful, it's definitely one of my favourite films),
but you get the best of both worlds if you ask your lab to develop up the
film and scan it yourself before printing.

Seriously, you're unlikely to find out, and you're likely to agree
with the expert on which ones are the bad ones anyway.
