If anyone can help me I would be so greatful!
I hired Karen Simmons http://www.ksimmons.com/ to shoot my wedding. I
paid her over $2,000 for a deposit, she shot my wedding and then never
contacted me. She won't return any of my calls or emails. I'm afraid
I'll never see my pictures!
If anyone has her contact info, besides the fake contact info from her
site please contact me.
My wedding photos are priceless to me - please help!

Since the website is still up and a phone is present maybe you should contact a lawyer as opposed
to posting it here, they may have some better advice.

I notice that at the bottom of her web site it says "We are a Martha
Stewart approved affiliate".
Check out the posts that have been made by others on this subject and
then form your own opinion on how to proceed. Look at

Hi Jenn,
My mouth dropped to the floor when I read your email. Karn Simmons and Associates of Atlanta were the photograhers for my beautiful New Orleans Wedding. My husband and I paid this fraudlent company in excess of 3000.00 for our wedding in Nov 2003, and I yet to receive my photos. The contract that I signed is void. I never received the CD Rom, the password protected website or negatives in 12 months. I have received excuse after excuse from Karen. I did see the pictures on the internet which was beautiful. It just mad me mad because now I know what I am missing.
I do not have a good address on karen because the only way I can proceed with legal actions. She has to be served.
The only contacted I made with her is through one of her associates, Allegra in Washington, DC. When I contacted her friend and business associate via email, karen responded angrily, as if I didn't have a right to contact others about her poor business practices.
Jenn we may need to join forces to retrieve our funds and our photographs, and to keep this from happening to other birdes and grooms.

Add me to the list of people who have run into problems with Karen. I
haven't gotten an album or many prints that I paid for from Karen from my
2003 wedding. She keeps telling me she's ordered my album, but it's now a
year and a half later and still no album. I already have a small claims
court judgment against her, but I haven't gotten my money back or my album.
Anyone else out there have problems?
P.S. Karen now calls her company Karen And Company.

I regret getting involved in the online spat I had with her.

I paid her a $500 retainer to shoot my wedding in October 2003, which she
cashed, and then never sent me a signed contract. After several unanswered
calls and e-mails to her, I let the BBB know as well as an ATL bridal
referral in an effort for others to avoid what I had been through. Her use
of a P.O. Box makes it impossible to server her papers unless you resort to
shady tactics (I was unwilling to sink down to that level). The smartest
thing I did was hire ANOTHER photographer for my wedding and, of course as
I expected, Karen never showed though she cashed my deposit and supposedly
had my contract. Ironically, I got an e-mail from the BBB just this
morning saying they closed out my claim and it included Karen's response
which was, of course, inaccurate.

Hello All -
Please add me to the list. I contracted Karen and Co for my wedding in May
2007. Obviously had I known the hell I would be put through after my wedding
- I would have never contracted her. I can't believe she has done this to so
many people for so long. We are about to file a small claim against her.
Did you ever get your photos?
I am absolutely sick over this. These are OUR wedding photos what does she
gain wth not getting them to us!

You need to write to the editors of every newspaper you can think of and
expose these people for the frauds that they are. Call all the news
channels in your area and have them do a story. Get some of these people
together to back you. Does class action law suit mean anything. Good luck
to you.

I reckon you get a solicitor/lawyer and proceed against her action in the
boundaries of law and justice.
