Visited your website. Very nice. I'm motivated to trek up to
the Olympic National Park this spring and summer.

There's a bunch of nice waterfalls in Southern Oregon I want
to get at, as well.

Thanks.

Which waterfalls are you planning to visit?

Earlier this summer, I took a trip through waterfall country in the
Gorge. There's a stretch of 6 or 8 all bunched together. I hadn't been
to Multnomah Falls since I was a kid. It's very pretty country and I
enjoyed the trip. I've got a nice 16x20 of Multnomah Falls on my wall.

I clicked on "View Images" and the thumbnails did not load.  IE 5.5

Hi. Nice pics! I really wanted to view more of your pictures, not just the
thumbnails, but the site is so slow when going back to the thumbnails from a
picture I gave up after only a few. I'm using IE 6, SP1 and a ADSL service.
Is the problem at my end or yours?

Best regards,

Rolf.

Thanks for viewing my site.

I'm really distressed that it's slow for you. I'm using the
same browser, but  through Comcast. It's very fast for me.

Not sure what to do.

Sounds like it might be my setup Larry. Hopefully we'll hear from others and
see what they say.

Aprox. 2 sec/picture from here (Denmark).

The images I looked at run 250 to 280 kilobytes each.  If you look
at my site, http://www.clarkvision.com the images are larger
or similar in size )pixels) but are only 75-130 kbytes in size.
If you are saving from photoshop, use save for web, which strips
out photoshop header stuff and gives a clean jpeg with no
extra baggage.  Experiment with compression and use the minimum
compression for the image that still gives good quality.

OK, thanks for the feedback Jan, MadHatter and Roger. I had another look at
it and realized my browser was freezing up for about 10 sec when I clicked
'back' to return to the thumbnails page. Workaround; use 'open in new
window' instead and the whole experience is much faster.

Regards,

Rolf.
