Where, how to submit an amateur photo of wildlife

I have a spectacular picture of a hawk with a squirrel in its talons
The picture was taken a moment after the hawk had flown out of
cherry blossom tree. How can I submit this photo to a magazine
Should I contact magazine companies directly? Any help would b
appreciated.

You can try to contact directly Birdwatcher, Birders world, Birding,
WildBird or other magazine.

Let us see it!

We might be able to direct you to a better publication depending on the REAL
quality of the image. If it is REALLY TRULY spectacular then I would
recommend that you submit it to better (larger circulation) publications and
not necessarily any of the Bird type Publications, which are generally much
lower pay and lower prestige.
