Anyone here been down this spring?

Some very nice aerials of the Pinacates at
   http://www.desertusa.com/wildflo/az.html
[scroll down to the Organ Pipe section]

Organ Pipe is shaping up, too, as is the Tucson-Ajo hiway around the
Kitt Peak turnoff.

We went a bit late last year....

Note: no car permits or tourist card required for visits here, Rocky Pt,
and west to Baja. There is a checkpoint (end of free zone) at
Saguaro(?), S of Rocky Pt.

It all over this spring.  I was up around Lake Pleasant and there were just
starting to bloom.(3 weeks ago)  There was some just not a lot but I am
betting now with all the new rains in the last three weeks that there going
to be a few more.  They are saying the season is going to start earlier this
year because of the rains.  In my area, we had over 3 inches of the annual 8
inches.
