After trying to predict the last couple of years, I give up,
and I'll just wait, see and be ready. Seems pretty reasonable
for a good show. In fact wet or dry, Colorado seems to put on
a good show somewhere in the state, just exactly when the
peak is is harder to say.

Took a day trip y'day, S.Fe -> Mora -> Angel Fire -> Taos -> S. Fe, ie
circling both sides of the southern Sangre. Some of the aspens were
looking pretty stressed from the dry summer (plus *lots* of dead/dying
pines at all elevations). Boy, that eastside drive is nice!
Do keep us informed, folks.
